Surah Al-Masad المسد

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
Saheeh International(1) May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.[2008]

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Saheeh International(2) His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
Saheeh International(3) He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
Saheeh International(4) And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.[2009]

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
Saheeh International(5) Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
