مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ بِهِۦ سَٰمِرًا تَهْجُرُونَ
Saheeh International(67) In arrogance regarding it,[964] conversing by night, speaking evil.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation Centerfeeling proud of this [Sacred House], spending night in evil talks [about the Qur’an].”
English Translation - Hilali and Khan67. In pride (they - Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary - Haram), talking evil about it (the Qur’ân) by night.
