أَتَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
Saheeh International(44) Do you order righteousness of the people and forget[25] yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?
English Translation - Rowwad Translation CenterDo you enjoin righteousness upon people while you forget yourselves, even though you recite the Scripture[28]? Do you not understand?
English Translation - Hilali and Khan44. Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allâh) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves,[12] while you recite the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah)]! Have you then no sense?
