Surah Fussilat, Verse 51

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ

Saheeh International(51) And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation CenterWhen We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself [from Us]; but when evil touches him, he is full of prolonged supplication.
English Translation - Hilali and Khan51. And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away; but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.
