لِّيَسْـَٔلَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
Saheeh International(8) That He may question the truthful about their truth.[1184] And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation Centerso that He may question the truthful[6] about their truthfulness, and He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.
English Translation - Hilali and Khan8. That He may ask the truthful (Allâh’s Messengers and His Prophets) about their truth (i.e. the conveyance of Allâh’s Message that which they were charged with). And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment (Hell-fire).
