وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ
Saheeh International(207) And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allāh. And Allāh is Kind to [His] servants.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation CenterBut there are some people who sell their souls[105] to seek Allah’s pleasure, and Allah is Most Gracious to His slaves.
English Translation - Hilali and Khan207. And of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the Pleasure of Allâh. And Allâh is full of Kindness to (His) slaves.
