فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُۥ نَفْسُهُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
Saheeh International(30) And his soul permitted to him[256] the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation CenterBut the former justified to himself the killing of his brother and killed him, and thus became one of the losers.
English Translation - Hilali and Khan30. So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.
