Surah Saad, Verse 34

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ

Saheeh International(34) And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body;[1327] then he returned.[1328]
English Translation - Rowwad Translation CenterIndeed, We tested Solomon and cast upon his throne a body, then he turned [to Allah][15].
English Translation - Hilali and Khan34. And indeed, We did try Sulaimân (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasad (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) and he did return (to Allâh with obedience and in repentance, and to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allâh).
