Surah Aal-i-Imraan, Verse 127

لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَآئِبِينَ

Saheeh International(127) That He might cut down a section of the disbelievers or suppress them so that they turn back disappointed.
English Translation - Rowwad Translation Centerin order to destroy a section of the disbelievers or disgrace them, so they may turn back utterly disappointed.
English Translation - Hilali and Khan127. That He might cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or expose them to infamy, so that they retire frustrated.
